Combarro, history and tradition
Combarro is a unique urban settlement, declared an ‘Artistic and picturesque ensemble’ in 1972. It is, without a doubt, one of the most genuine expressions of popular Galician architecture. In Combarro, the fusion between agrarian and seafaring Galicia is unique, with the stone granaries reaching the shoreline.
