Visenta at the shipyard

This year our vessel, Visenta, is spending a few months at the O Grove shipyard for repairs.

Visenta is a canoe from Muros, that belongs to the type known as bucetas, traditional to the Ría Muros-Noia. It was donated to the Mar de Muros Association by Chevito de Lariño. Built in 1934, it was restored in a traditional boatbuilding workshop in 2009 in the Municipality of Muros.

It has a beautiful mystic sail, with a length overall of 5.15 m and a beam of 1.66 m.
