“Xogando coa Auga e co Vento” 2026

A successful new edition of the “Xogando coa Auga e co Vento” (Playing with the Water and the Wind) workshop was held on June 1st as part of the Xogade program of the Regional Ministry of Education, with students from 2nd year of ESO at IES Plurilingüe Fontexería in Muros, and with the collaboration of the Nautical Clubs of Portosín and O Freixo, as well as the associations Terra de Outes and Mar de Muros.

Throughout the morning, we had the opportunity to sail on our boats, learning maritime terminology, nautical knots, rowing techniques, anchoring, sailing maneuvers, and navigation courses. In short, it was a fantastic day in which the students demonstrated remarkable maritime skills.
